MR.DIY CLUB LOYALTY PROGRAM TERMS AND CONDITIONS (FOR MEMBER) 

PLEASE READ THIS TERMS AND CONDITIONS CAREFULLY BEFORE USING MR.DIY CLUB REWARDS. BY SELECTING “AGREE” OR “CONTINUE”, YOU AGREE TO BE BOUND BY THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS. IF YOU DO NOT AGREE TO THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS, SELECT “DISAGREE” OR DO NOT CONTINUE USING MR.DIY CLUB REWARDS.


  1. Introduction

    1. The MR.DIY Club Loyalty Program (the “MR.DIY Club Rewards”) is Malaysia’s first family-centric loyalty program, specifically designed to reward customers with Points, Vouchers, and Exclusive Benefits. This member-exclusive loyalty reward program is provided by MR D.I.Y. Group (M) Berhad. and its subsidiary companies (“MR.DIY”) to its valued MR.DIY Club Holders (as defined hereinafter). 

    2. Our innovative system is designed to reward the way modern households shop. By introducing the Family Pool mechanic, we allow up to five members to combine their earning power and reach rewards faster together. Coupled with our unique Bags collection system for exclusive campaign unlocks, the MR.DIY Club Rewards transforms every transaction into a collective win for your entire home. Whether you are shopping individually or pooling resources with loved ones, our program ensures that your loyalty is recognised with maximum flexibility and value.

    3. These T&Cs shall govern MR.DIY Club Holder’s access to and/ or the use of the MR.DIY Club Rewards. Where specific services are accompanied by separate terms of use, you agree that the terms of those specific services shall govern your use of them in conjunction with these T&Cs.

  2. MR.DIY Club Rewards

    1. MR.DIY Club Rewards offers two distinct ways for MR.DIY Club Holders to accumulate value through their purchases:

      1. Points: MR.DIY Club Holders earn one (1) Point for every RM1.00 spent on qualifying purchases (excluding utilities bill payments, e-wallet, prepaid card, Touch’nGo Card reload/ top-up and tobacco /tobacco related products). Points serve as the primary currency of the program and can be earned individually or pooled within a Family Group.

      2. Bags: MR.DIY Club Holders earn one (1) Bag for every RM20.00 spent in a single transaction. Bags are non-divisible units used primarily to unlock specific campaign milestones or high-tier rewards as specified in the Club Rewards Catalogue.

    2. Accumulated Points and Bags may be utilised to access two categories of membership benefits:

      1. Vouchers: MR.DIY Club Holders may redeem their accumulated Points or Bags for digital vouchers. These include, but are not limited to, cash-off discounts, product-specific coupons, or partner promotional codes. Once a voucher is redeemed, it will be issued to the MR.DIY Club Holder’s "My Rewards" section within the MR.DIY Club Mobile Application or MR.DIY e-commerce platform and must be used within its stated validity period.

  1. Exclusive Benefits: Beyond transactional rewards, MR.DIY Club Holders are entitled to member-only privileges. These "Exclusive Benefits" may include early access to seasonal sales, invitations to member-only events, and special member-pricing on selected items. These benefits are non-transferable and may vary based on the MR.DIY Club Holder’s membership activity or tier.

  1. Eligibility and Enrolment to be MR.DIY Club Holder

    1. Participation in MR.DIY Club Rewards is free and limited to individuals, above the age of thirteen (13), for personal use only. Corporations, groups, or associations are not eligible. Individuals below the age of eighteen (18) may only register and participate in MR.DIY Club Rewards with the consent of a parent or legal guardian.

    2. To become a MR.DIY Club Holder, an individual must register through the official MR.DIY Club Mobile Application, subject to the following conditions: 

      1. Registration & Verification: An individual becomes a MR.DIY Club Holder only upon the successful verification of their mobile number via a One-Time Password (OTP). Upon successful registration, a unique MR.DIY Club membership number (“Membership No.”) will be issued for the purpose of earning and redeeming Points and accessing related Exclusive Benefits.

      2. Account Limits. Membership No. is limited to one (1) account per mobile number. 

      3. Accuracy of Information. MR.DIY Club Holder must provide accurate and current information during registration. MR.DIY reserves the right to suspend any account found to contain fraudulent or inaccurate data.

  2. Accrual of Points 

    1. Earning Rate. MR.DIY Club Holder earn one (1) Point for every RM1 spent on eligible purchases (excluding utilities bill payments, e-wallet, prepaid card, Touch’nGo Card reload/ top-up and tobacco /tobacco related products) at participating MR.DIY physical stores and MR.DIY e-commerce platforms, unless otherwise stated by MR.DIY.

    2. Crediting. Points are typically credited immediately following a successful transaction, though minor delays may occur. If the record is deemed incorrect, a detailed transaction record may be requested from MR.DIY or contact our Customer Support team for further assistance.

    3. Points Expiration. Points are valid for 12 months from the month of earning and will expire at the end of the 12th month. For example, Points earned on 3/3/2026 will expire on 31/3/2027.

    4. Points earned or contributed by members within a Family Group shall be treated as a collective group balance, unless otherwise stated by MR.DIY. See Family Group Features below. 

    5. Company Discretion: MR.DIY reserves the sole right to adjust point values, amend redemption provisions, or restrict the conversion of points into designated products/services without prior consent.

  3. The “Bags” Feature

    1. Definition: “Bags” are virtual collections used to unlock rewards or promotions during specific campaigns.

    2. Earning Entries: Every RM 20 spent in a single receipt qualifies for one (1) Bag entry.

    3. Expiry: Currently, Bag entries do not have an expiration date.

    4. All “Bags” earned by MR.DIY Club Holder and other members within the same Family Group shall be aggregated into a shared pool (“Pooled Bags”). The total number of Pooled Bags shall be displayed uniformly on the Bags screen of all Family Group members’ accounts.

  4. Family Group Feature

    1. Participation in a Family Group is optional and subject to the rules determined by MR.DIY. A Family Group allows eligible members to combine certain loyalty benefits in accordance with these T&Cs herein.

    2. Group Structure: A MR.DIY Club Holder (the “Family Group Organiser”) may form a Family Group and invite up to five (5) total members.

    3. Pooling: Family members may pool both Points and Bags to reach rewards faster. Points earned or contributed by members within a Family Group shall be treated as a collective group balance, unless otherwise stated by MR.DIY. These Points may be redeemed by any authorised member of the group.

  5. Points Redemption and Rewards

    1. Points are granted as a promotional incentive and possess no cash value. They are not convertible into cash or any other currency. Points are not considered personal property, therefore, MR.DIY Club Holder does not exercise full rights of possession over them.

    2. Redemption: Points and Bags, as the case may be, may only be redeemed for Vouchers, products, or special experiences as available in the Redeem Rewards catalogue.

    3. Finality: Once redeemed, rewards cannot be cancelled, refunded, or exchanged for points or cash.

    4. Validity: Each reward has a specific validity period shown in the MR.DIY Mobile Application or MR.DIY e-commerce platform and must be used before its expiry date.

    5. Points earned or contributed or redeemed by members within a Family Group shall be treated as a collective group balance, unless otherwise stated by MR.DIY.

  6. Exit and Dissolution Rules: 

    1. Voluntary Exit (Non-Family Group Organiser Departure). In the event a Non-Family Group Organiser voluntarily elects to leave a Family Group:

      1. Forfeiture of Points: All Points previously earned or contributed by said Non-Family Group Organiser shall remain within the Family Group pool. The departing Non-Family Group Organiser’s individual account balance will be reset to zero (0) Points.

      2. Retention of Bags: All Bags earned by the departing Non-Family Group Organiser through their own transaction history shall be retained by that Non-Family Group Organiser and reflected in their individual account. These Bags will continue to be utilised for the Non-Family Group Organiser's tier calculations and campaign eligibility.

    2. Family Group Dissolution. In the event a Family Group is dissolved (whether by the Family Group Organiser’s request or by MR.DIY’s discretion):

      1. Equal Distribution of Points: The total Points balance remaining in the Family Pool at the exact time of dissolution shall be divided equally among all active members of the Family Group.

      2. Reversion of Bags: All Bags held within the group context shall be reverted to their original owners based strictly on each MR.DIY Club Holder’s individual transaction history.

    3. In the event of a Family Group dissolution or a member’s voluntary withdrawal from a Family Group, the member shall only be permitted to create or join another Family Group once within a period of 365 days.

  7. Returns, Exchanges, and Enquiries  

    1. Returns of Redeemed Goods: If goods redeemed with points are deemed defective and returned, the MR.DIY Club Holder must present a valid receipt. Returns are subject to MR.DIY’s standard Return Policies, however, Points deducted for the original redemption will not be refunded.

    2. Transaction Records: All operations performed within the system are recorded by MR.DIY. MR.DIY Club Holders may inquire about their accumulated points through the MR.DIY Club Mobile Application. If a record is disputed, MR.DIY Club Holder may request a detailed transaction report or contact our Customer Support team for further assistance.

  8. Prohibited Conduct and User Obligations

    1. Lawful Use: MR.DIY Club Holders must use MR.DIY Club Rewards in compliance with the laws of Malaysia and any applicable international conventions. MR.DIY Club Rewards shall not be used for illegal purposes, including the trading of prohibited items.

    2. Infringement and Misconduct: MR.DIY Club Holders shall not engage in conduct that infringes upon the rights of others (including reputation, privacy, trademarks, or copyrights) or distributes malicious software (viruses). Any breach of confidentiality or use of false data is strictly prohibited.

    3. Liability for Misconduct: MR.DIY Club Holder shall assume full legal responsibility and be liable for compensation if their actions impair the interests of MR.DIY.

    4. Personal Information: MR.DIY Club Holder is responsible for ensuring all personal information provided is accurate and updated. MR.DIY shall not be liable for any non-performance of the Service or errors resulting from the Club Holder’s failure to maintain current information.

    5. Non-Transferability: The MR.DIY Club Rewards is designated solely for the Club Holder's personal use. MR.DIY Club Membership are non-transferable and intended for personal, non-commercial use only. Sharing account details or QR codes is prohibited.

    6. Credential Security: MR.DIY Club Holder assumes full responsibility for the confidentiality of their account number and password. MR.DIY Club Holder agrees not to disclose these credentials to third parties or use another person’s account.

    7. Unauthorized Use: If MR.DIY Club Holder suspects their account or password has been compromised, they must notify MR.DIY immediately to request a suspension of the account. MR.DIY is not liable for any losses or executed instructions occurring prior to the formal confirmation of such a request.

  9. Termination and Deactivation

    1. MR.DIY may suspend or terminate the MR.DIY Club membership in any of the following circumstances and is not liable to compensate for any loss, damage or expense accrued, including without limitation the loss of profit, reputation, service, data or other intangible damage (regardless of whether MR.DIY receives prior notice of the possibility of damage): 

      1. User Request: MR.DIY Club Holder may request account deactivation by contacting customer support.

      2. Company Rights: MR.DIY reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts for violations of these terms, including fraudulent activity or "gaming" the system. Upon deactivation, all points and benefits are forfeited.

      3. Abnormal Activity: Should MR.DIY detect abnormalities or suspect illegal conduct regarding a transaction, it reserves the right to freeze the account and cancel all accrued points immediately.

      4. Fraud and Abuse: If MR.DIY determines, in its reasonable discretion, that a MR.DIY Club Holder has engaged in fraudulent activity, abuse of the loyalty program, manipulation of transactions, misuse of the Family Group feature, or any conduct intended to improperly accumulate Points or Bags, MR.DIY reserves the right to:

        1. reverse or deduct improperly obtained Points or Bags;

        2. cancel or void any redeemed rewards;

        3. suspend or terminate the account; and

        4. recover the monetary value of any improperly redeemed benefits, where applicable.

Such actions may be taken without prior notice where immediate action is reasonably necessary to protect the integrity of the loyalty program.

  1.  Privacy Protection 

The collection, use, and disclosure of personal data by MR.DIY are governed strictly by the MR.DIY Privacy Policy. Enrolment in the MR.DIY Club Rewards is contingent upon the MR.DIY Club Holder providing express and separate consent to MR.DIY Privacy Policy during the account registration process. MR.DIY Club Holders may manage their communication preferences and review how their data is processed by accessing the Privacy Settings within the MR.DIY Club Mobile Application or by contacting MR.DIY’s Data Protection Officer as outlined in the Privacy Policy. 

  1.  System Availability and Performance

    1. Service Interruptions: MR.DIY shall not be liable for any loss, damage, or non-performance of the MR.DIY Club Rewards resulting from system halts or failures caused by:

      1. Scheduled server maintenance (notified via the MR.DIY website or email);

      2. Telecommunication equipment or data communication failures;

      3. Circumstances beyond MR.DIY’s reasonable control, including natural disasters (typhoons, earthquakes, flooding), power failures, acts of war, or terrorism;

      4. Third-party interference, including hacker attacks, technical adjustments by telecommunication providers, or system failures within the banking and payment infrastructure. 

  2. Limitation of Liabilities 

    1.  Nothing in these T&Cs excludes liability where such exclusion is prohibited under applicable law. MR.DIY is responsible only for the obligations expressly stated within these T&Cs.

    2. As MR.DIY Club Holder data is provided on a voluntary basis, MR.DIY does not warrant the absolute accuracy, timeliness, or completeness of information provided through the Service. The MR.DIY Club Holder assumes full responsibility for their reliance on such information.

    3. Any third-party partners associated with the loyalty program are solely responsible for the quality and content of the products or services they provide. MR.DIY bears no liability for partner-led offerings.

    4. The MR.DIY Club Holder acknowledges that Points and Bags calculations are automated and recorded by MR.DIY’s system. Such records shall be deemed accurate and conclusive in the absence of manifest error, fraud, or proven system malfunction. MR.DIY shall not be held liable for any disputes or claims arising from Family Group participation, member exits, or group dissolution, unless there is manifest error or system malfunction.

    5. To the extent permitted by law, MR.DIY shall not be liable for any indirect, punitive, special, or incidental damages arising from or associated with these T&Cs, regardless of the cause of action (breach of contract, tort, or otherwise). 

  3. Intellectual Property Rights 

    1. All intellectual property rights, including trademarks, patents, copyrights, and trade secrets, pertaining to the MR.DIY Club Holder, Mobile Application, and their contents (text, graphics, design, and framework) are the exclusive property of MR.DIY or its affiliates. 

    2. None of the programming information or content of MR.DIY website may be used, revised, copied, transmitted, altered, disseminated, distributed or publicized without prior written consent from MR.DIY. Any breach of these rights may result in legal action and liability for damages.

  4. Jurisdiction 

These T&Cs shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the Laws of Malaysia. Any disputes arising from these T&Cs shall be dealt with in accordance with Malaysian law. Any legal proceedings shall be filed within the jurisdiction of the Courts of Malaysia relevant to the location of MR.DIY’s corporate registration.

MR.DIY reserves the right to modify, suspend, or terminate the loyalty program, in whole or in part, where practicable, MR.DIY shall provide prior notice of any material changes via the MR.DIY Club Mobile Application (including push notifications), publication on the official MR.DIY website, or such other communication channels as MR.DIY deems appropriate. This includes changes to point values, earning structures, and expiration policies.
