HOW DOES IT WORK?
Using a hip band at the gym can help activate your glutes, improve your hip mobility, and strengthen your lower body. Here are the steps to properly use a gym hip band:

1) Choose the right resistance level: Hip bands come in different resistance levels, so choose one that suits your fitness level and goals.

2) Put on the band: Put the band around your thighs, just above your knees. Make sure it's snug but not too tight.

3) Warm-up: It's important to warm up your muscles before using the band. Do some dynamic stretching or a few bodyweight exercises to get your blood flowing.

4) Use the band for glute activation: You can use the band to activate your glutes by doing exercises like glute bridges, clams, and lateral band walks. For example, to do a glute bridge with a hip band, lie on your back with your knees bent and feet flat on the floor. Place the band above your knees and lift your hips up towards the ceiling, squeezing your glutes as you go.

5) Use the band for hip mobility: You can use the band to improve your hip mobility by doing exercises like hip circles and lateral leg swings. For example, to do lateral leg swings with a hip band, stand with the band around your thighs and swing your leg out to the side, keeping your torso stable.

6) Use the band for lower body strength: You can also use the band to add resistance to exercises like squats, lunges, and leg presses. For example, to do a banded squat, place the band above your knees and squat down, pushing your knees out against the resistance of the band.

Remember to always use a proper band and start with a lighter resistance level if you're new to using a hip band.
